Achieving Change is an NDIS registered mental health business located in Townsville's northern beaches which also operates across Townsville, Ingham and Charters Towers. We offer counselling and psychological assessments, art therapy, support work and support coordination. 

Our CEO and Principal Amanda Kruger is a mental health accredited Social Worker with over 20 years experience in both the public and private sectors.

Amanda's qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Social Work
• Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Psychology.
• Masters of Narrative Therapy & Community Work.

Amanda is a past President of the Australian Association of Social Workers - North Queensland Branch.

Amanda offers services in counselling, group work, supervision and report writing from her Townsville practice. Her clients are individuals and organisations based in Townsville and across Australia.

Her experience includes:

• Former Board Member of Advance Employment - a not for profit mental health specialist provider
• 12+ years experience in Social Work
• Queensland Mental Health Worker for 8+ years
• Youth Justice Officer for the Department of Communities for 7+ years.
• Tutor at James Cook University.
• Working in the not-for-profit mental health space.
